A Short Summary

For the last 10+ years I’ve had the privilege of serving the church in a number of ways: leading worship, writing songs, teaching, preaching, blogging and doing ministry in a variety of fields, formats and functions. I currently am the Executive Minister of Christ Church in Moscow, ID. I received a Masters in Theology & Letters from New Saint Andrews, and completed the pastoral training program Greyfriars Hall.

Theologically:

Charles Spurgeon,  A.W. Tozer, Leonard Ravenhill, Paris Reidhead, Henry Scougal, Jonathan Edwards, Henry Law, John Calvin, Oswald Chambers, Andrew Murray, Norm Wakefield, John Piper, Douglas Wilson, Paul Washer, and anyone who dares to unabashedly make much of the preeminence of Christ and the unchanging truth of the Word of God.

Philosophically:

Jim Elliot, Robert Murray M’Cheyne, David Brainerd, Hudson Taylor, George Müller, C.S. Lewis, William Wallace, J.R.R. Tolkien, Keith Green, and the Puritans.

Genetically:

My Mom and Dad…this is not all they contributed, they showed me how to serve Jesus with every fibre of my being, which is the pursuit of my days and the meditation of my nights! Thanks Mom and Dad!
